Receh.in - PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI), also known as Surge, has officially signed a Fiber Lease Agreement with XL Axiata through its subsidiary, PT Integrasi Jaringan Ekosistem (Weave).
Under the agreement, XL Axiata will lease Weave's telecommunications network for a total of 3,599 km for a period of 10 years until 2032. The management noted that by leasing the fiber optic cables on the Java Island railway line to XL Axiata, IJE has proven the quality of service it provides to leading telecom providers in Indonesia.
The collaboration between Surge and XL Axiata will increase the company's revenue from its core lease/dark fiber business segment. The company has previously worked with various clients, including internet service providers such as My Republic, cloud providers such as Huawei Cloud, and data centers such as NTT Data Center.
The management of WIFI is optimistic about becoming a premium backbone service provider on the railway line, which will positively and maximally accelerate Indonesia's digital economy.
