Receh.in - CV Bandar Agung Abadi (BAA) is seeking a delay in debt payment (PKPU) from PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT). In a registered letter of 1/Pdt.Sus- PKPU /2023/PN Niaga Jkt, BAA's legal representative, Hendra Gunawan, stated that they hope the PKPU request will be granted.
To handle the request, BAA has nominated Farid SR, Hendra Yudhy N, and others as potential administrators in the PKPU request if it is approved.
"The reason for the PKPU request against PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk is to restructure the debt of the PKPU applicant (PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk) to make the company healthy again and make the payment process easier, especially as the company is a state-owned enterprise," Hendra stated in a statement on Saturday (7/1).
The petition listed in the request letter states that WSKT, as the applicant, is in a PKPU state for a maximum of 45 days from the date the aquo decision is read and is bound by all legal consequences. It also orders the applicant to pay the costs of the case.
"(The petition also) orders the management team to summon the PKPU applicant (Waskita) and known creditors by registered letter to appear at a hearing to be held no later than day 45 from the decision," he added.
